RADIO AMATEUR CIVIL EMERGENCY SERVICE (RACES)

General Description and Mission

The purpose of this Communications Plan is for serving Charlotte County with backup
communications in the event of an emergency situation.
RACES could comprise the command and administrative communications network serving Charlotte County.
RACES networks will function in accordance with the Federal Communications Rules and Regulations,
Part 97.401, Subpart E - Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES).
